If you’ve never done a TV show workout, it’s essentially like a drinking game. Every time Olivia Benson goes after a perp, you, yup, take a drink. But sometimes, we have to take care of our bodies (obviously so we can wreck them on weekends), so I’m giving you a TV show workout instead of a TV show drinking game. Don’t worry, it’s not total torture. You get to watch Friends! As if you needed another reason to watch Friends.
Here’s a little guide in case you want to switch up the actual moves!
(Joey = abs, Ross = cardio, Chandler = legs, Monica = arms, Rachel = butt, Phoebe = cardio)
1. Every time Joey says “How you doin’?”
DO FIVE SIT-UPS
2. Every time Ross says “Hi” likes he’s the absolute most miserable human being on the planet
DO TEN JUMPING JACKS
3. Every time Chandler makes a sarcastic comment
DO EIGHT BACKWARD LUNGES (Think like Joey is wearing ALL of your clothes!)
4. Every time Monica cleans…or talks about cleaning…or you can just tell she wants to clean
DO A THIRTY SECOND FOREARM PLANK
5. Every time Rachel says something ditzy
DO TWELVE GRASSHOPPERS
6. Every time Phoebe sings
DO SIX FROGGY HOPS
7. Every time Joey eats or mentions a sandwich
DO SIXTEEN RUSSIAN TWISTS
8. Every time Ross talks about dinosaurs
DO FOURTEEN MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
9. Every time Chandler rolls his eyes
DO TEN SCISSORS
10. Every time Monica takes something out of the oven
DO SEVEN TRICEP DIPS
11. Every time Rachel messes up someone’s coffee order
